Cows like to sleep close to their families, and sleeping arrangements are determined by individuals’ rank in the social hierarchy.
Like humans, cows (cattle) form close friendships and choose to spend much of their time with 2-4 preferred individuals. They also hold grudges for years and may dislike particular individuals.
Cows display emotions and have been shown to produce more milk when they are treated better and as individuals.
Cattle get excited when they solve problems. When faced with a challenge of finding out how to open a door to reach food, their heartbeat went up, their brainwaves showed excitement, and some even jumped into the air.
Cows show their excitement when let out into a field after long periods confined indoors.
Cattle like to sleep close to their families, and sleeping arrangements are determined by individuals’ rank in the social hierarchy.
Cows are devotional mothers and are known to walk for miles to find their calves.
Cattle are extremely curious and inquisitive animals which will investigate everything.
Like many other grazing animals cattle have one stomach which is divided into four compartments or chambers: the rumen, reticulum, omasum and abomasum. This allows them to digest grain and grasses most effectively.
Cattle have almost 360° panoramic vision. This helps them to see predators coming from any direction.
Cattle have an excellent sense of smell. They can detect odours up to five miles away. They can also hear both low and high frequency sounds beyond human capability.
The cow is a protected animal in Hinduism, and Hindus do not eat beef. Cows are honoured at least once a year, on Gopastami. On this day cows are washed and decorated in temples.

ANGKLUNG FOR THE WORLD
Hello guys, I'm back here to share a story that is what happened on 23 April 2015. On 23 April 2015 that happened a part pra-event of the 60th anniversary of the Asian-African Conference (KAA) in Bandung.
On that day, Very happy for me to be part of the 20,000 players angklung, angklung is a traditional musical instrument which is not only the pride of West Java, but also has become the pride of Indonesia as a spirit in commemoration of the 60th KAA through Harmony Angklung performances for The World, titled Angklung Harmony for The World. Songs will be sung varied, ranging from traditional songs, nationality, up to western song.
The event held on stadium siliwangi bandung and became recorded in the Guinness book of records and also MURI record. The record-breaking goal is to return commemorate of KAA historical events in 1955, build a spirit of togetherness welcome KAA 60th and create an historical event that could have a major impact for the citizens of the world.
We entered the stadium at 9 o'clock and were given free angklung, consumption and t-shirts. we left the stadium at 12 o'clock. The conditions when in the area is very hot, the temperature until 33 degree.
The participants came from school students in Bandung ranging from elementary school, Junior High School, Senior High School, students, angklung saung udjo, entrepreneurs, and citizens.
Once again, I wanna say that i'm very proud to Indonesia actually bandung!!

I will share one of a lot of uniques place in Bandung. So here it is..
I was at Skyfield this afternoon. Skyfield is located at Paris Van Java Rooftop – Parking Area (in front of Gardenice). Skyfield who located in Bandung PVJ sky level that has the soft opening on Monday, June 2 and the grand opening began Saturday, June 7th, 2014.
The uniqueness of this field sky because there are gardens and fields lying roof of a mall. The area of fields and artificial garden is 2,000 m2. This place will be opened up to 3 months in advance, and be prepared up to 6 months. In this play zone, there is a butterfly garden that has hundreds of species, landscaping flower, rice fields that have been planted with rice, dairy cow shed, until the pond fish and turtles.
In the butterfly garden area measuring 150m2 is formed like a maze where the track will be posted along the route information boards about various species of butterflies in the world. In Skyfield you can feel the nature of the rice field, see many kind of beautiful flowers and butterflies, and learning about metamorphosis of the butterfly at rooftop.
If you want to go to this place bring your friends or your family for looking for experience a true nature in the middle of the Bandung city. The entry ticket cost only IDR 20.000 / person on weekday and 25.000 / person on weekend.

What is Red Tide?
Red tide is a phenomenon caused by algal blooms (Wikipedia definition) during which algae become so numerous that they discolor coastal waters (hence the name “red tide”). The algal bloom may also deplete oxygen in the waters and/or release toxins that may cause illness in humans and other animals. Species in the United States that release these harmful toxins include:
* Alexandrium fundyense—found along the Atlantic coast from the Canadian Maritimes to southern New England
* Alexandrium catenella—found along the Pacific coast from California to Alaska
* Karenia brevis—found in the Gulf of Mexico along the west coast of Florida
What Causes Red Tide?
Major factors influencing red tide events include warm ocean surface temperatures, low salinity, high nutrient content, calm seas, and rain followed by sunny days during the summer months. In addition, algae related to red tide can spread or be carried long distances by winds, currents, storms, or ships.
Where Are Red Tides Found?
Red tide is a global phenomenon. However, since the 1980s harmful red tide events have become more frequent and widespread. Detection of a spread is thought to be influenced by higher awareness of red tide, better equipment for detecting and analyzing red tide, and nutrient loading from farming and industrial runoff. Countries affected by red tide events include: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, England, France, Guatemala, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, New Guinea, Peru, the Philippines, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, the United States, and Venezuela.
How Are Red Tides Harmful?
Red tide algae make potent natural toxins. It is unknown why these toxins are created, but some can be hazardous to larger organisms throught the processes of biomagnification and bioaccumulation. Grazers such as fish and krill are unaffected by the toxins, so as they eat the algae the toxins are concentrated and accumulate to a level that is poisonous eat to organisms that feed on them. Large fish kills and several mammalian diseases and deaths have been attributed to consumption of shellfish during red tide algal blooms. Diseases that may affect humans include:
* Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP)—This disease is caused by the production of saxitoxin by the Alexandrium species. It is common along the Atlantic and Pacific coasts in the US and Canada. Poisoning occurs when one ingests shellfish contaminated with PSP toxins causing disruption of nerve function and paralysis. Extreme cases may result in death by asphyxiation by respiratory paralysis.
* Diarrhetic Shellfish Poisoning (DSP)—This disease is caused by the Dinophysis species. It generally occurs in Japan and Europe, but it has also been found in other countries such as Canada, the US, Chile, New Zealand, and Thailand. Symptoms of DSP include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and cramps. DSP is generally not lethal.
* Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning (ASP)—This disease, which has been found along the eastern Canadian coast, is caused by domoic acid producing planktonic and benthic algae, including Pseudo-nitzschia pungens forma. Pseudo-nitzschia multiseries and Amphora coffaeformis. It can also be found in soft shell clams and blue mussels infected by Pseudo-nitzschia delicatissima. Gastric and neurological symptoms include dizziness, disorientation and memory loss.
What is Being Done About Red Tide?
Technological advancements such as satellite imagery have allowed scientists to better track and monitor harmful algal blooms. Tracking and monitoring red tide algae helps reduce harmful effects of the algae by providing warnings against eating infected shellfish and against swimming in infected waters. For example, the Sarasota Operations Coastal Oceans Observation Lab (SO COOL) has developed instruments that can test for red tide algae in coastal waters. Finally, researchers are attempting to develop an antidote to the red tide toxins. Interestingly, while developing such anti-toxins, researchers have found a possible cystic fibrosis treatment.

MY HOLIDAY :)
UAS had been completed and there was RMP weeks then the reports were distributed. Some of my friends got SP but thank God I didn't get SP. After the distribution of reports, my holiday started from 24th December 2014 until 11th January 2015. Do you want to know how my holiday was? (24/12) On the first day of my holidays I came to school to re-contract the 2nd half. (25/12) The second day of the holiday, my family and I went to Cirata. Do you know where it is? Cirata is located in Cikalong, Purwakarta. There, I was hunting photos, great scenery to take a picture, I like photography. Yes it was better than staying at home. (26/12) Day three, I visited my old house, it is located in Soreang precisely in Gading Tutuka Residence. I grew up there for eleven years since I was one year old until I graduated from elementary school and I decided to continue my junior high school in Bandung. I spent my childhood there. (27/12) Day four of the holiday, I got a fever and headache. (28/12) Day five of the holiday, i was still sick. (29/12) (30/12) Day six and seven, I just stayed at home and watched the movie. So boring. But it was ok.
(31/12) (1/1) Day 8 and 9 were the last day in the year 2014 and the first day in 2015 and I celebrated the new year at my grandmother's house with family. (2/1) (3/1) Day 10 and 11 I was at my grandma's house, there I played with my little cousin. He was so funny and cute. (4/1) Day 12, I went to Ciwalk with my family and there I accidentally met Felia. (5/1) Day 13 of the holiday, I met my jhs friends, precisely my osis friends. We gathered at my friend's house and there we shared stories, watched movies, took pictures, ate, very impressive anyway, because I really missed them. (6/1) Day 14 of the holiday, I began tutoring back. In the morning i studied english in english course and continued study physics for the preparation of the 2nd half. (7/1) Day 15, I went to Braga with my mother, and then we went to IP for lunch and in the afternoon I went to GO for my lessons. (8/1) Day 16, I went to my english course for studying english then I went to SMA 3 to complete the jepret's prototype. After that, because I was hungry and adhisya too, then we went to BIP for lunch. After that, I went home and my mother asked me to go to our cousin's house. there is a very funny my brother his name is Rafdan. (9/1) Day 17, In the morning I went to Saparua for doing MP3 task. I made a video introduction of member MP3. (10/1) Day 18, I just stayed at home then I went to the dentist. (11/1) Day 18, today I just stayed at home to prepare for school the next day. That was my holiday. Thank you.
